Good Morning Britain is one of the nation's most popular breakfast TV shows, which is usually hosted by Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.
The ITV programme has had its fair share of drama this year after Piers Morgan quit as host back in March following a backlash regarding comments he made about Meghan Markle.
Since then, an array of male presenters have joined mum-of-three Susanna - including Richard Madeley, Robert Rinder, Martin Lewis and Adil Ray.
However, none of them will be on your television screens this Christmas as Good Morning Britain won't be airing in its usual slot.
Is Good Morning Britain on over Christmas?
Good Morning won't be airing live over Christmas as the presenters and crew take a festive break, but there will be a pre-recorded show on on Christmas Day.
For the first time in the show's history that means it will air on a Saturday with Susanna, Ben and Kate joined by a plethora of guests, including Fred Siriex and The Wanted, to start the day.
The ITV series usually airs weekdays from 6am until 9am on ITV and ITV Hub.
Therefore, the final episode of Good Morning Britain of 2021 will air at 6am on Christmas Eve on Friday 24 December.
Good Morning Britain had to be removed from the ITV schedule despite originally being planned to go ahead through Christmas.
It was supposed to air from December 29th to 31st in the lead up to the new year.
Speaking at the start of the Christmas special, Ben says: "Well hasn’t Santa delivered for me! I have the absolute pleasure of being the filling in this GMB Christmas sandwich… I have been put here, this isn’t my own doing! I’m just doing as I’m told, as I always do…"
When does Good Morning Britain return?
Due to the hosts and crew taking a nice festive break, the live shows of Good Morning Britain won't return to TV screens until 2022.
ITV confirmed to The Mirror that it will air at 6am on Tuesday 4 January, but it's unsure who will host it.
Susanna, 51, is the main presenter but is yet to have a permanent replacement since Piers quit the show earlier this year.
Good Morning Britain usually airs at 6am on weekdays on ITV and ITV Hub.
