Is England snub good or bad for Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold?

Trent Alexander-Arnold kicked off the 2020/21 season with back to back appearances for England.

He has barely had time to draw breath since. But being busy hasn't been reflected in his form.

From being hailed as potentially "the best English right-back ever", the Liverpool full-back now finds himself putting his feet up during an international break, with Reece James and Kieran Trippier preferred by Gareth Southgate, and even Matty Cash and Luke Ayling namechecked by the Three Lions boss!

But should Reds fans be concerned?

Will the England snub be another blow to Alexander-Arnold's confidence in a season full of knocks? Or will the much needed rest and chance to reflect work in the young defender's favour?

After all, at least we know Alexander-Arnold isn't going to run the risk of being added to the calamitous defensive injury list on international duty!

What do you think? Are you disappointed to see Trent miss out, or will the break do him good?
