Coronation Street is heading towards one of its most explosive ever weeks - with new spoiler photos showing evil drug lord Harvey on the loose from prison toting a gun.
Corrie bosses have already confirmed that death and destruction is heading the way of Weatherfield in dramatic new scenes that will air during "Super Soap Week" in mid-October, although have not disclosed who perishes in the episodes.
Now, behind the scenes photos from filming have shown fugitive Harvey, played by Stockport's Will Mellor, armed and dangerous on the prowl through woodland.

In upcoming scenes, he is set to break free after the prison van he's being transported in crashes on country roads.
Actor Will has been pictured looking bloodied and bruised as Harvey in the scenes, wearing his prison tracksuit as he runs through the woods.

Now, in the new images, the character is also seen with a gun in his hands after escaping the prison van.
Harvey was sent to jail earlier this year after being convicted of drug dealing and dragging teenager Simon Barlow into his murky world - much to the horror of his mum Leanne.
Now, armed and dangerous Harvey is set to return to Weatherfield hellbent on revenge against Leanne and Simon.

While last week viewers saw Harvey's legal team led by Sabeen make his bid for freedom at a court appeal, the new shots appear to confirm he will take matters into his own hands instead.
In the pictures fugitive Harvey is seen making his way along a river bank with a gun.
At one point as he stops, his broken handcuffs are visible on the character's wrists.
In the rain lashed scenes he is also seen in confrontation with a cyclist, and also sinking to the floor as if in pain.

But who else will block his path and will he use lethal force along the way?
Viewers will have to tune in to see how this one is going to play out.
Two Pints of Larger star Will, 45, shot to fame as Jambo Bolton in Hollyoaks in 1995 and went on to star in the dramas Broadchurch, Line of Duty and No Offence.

He joined Corrie after teenager Simon began dealing drugs to help Leanne financially after the death of her three-year-old son Oliver.
The Harvey drama will be matched by other events unfolding on the street for the Super Soap week with the build up starting from October 18, by all accounts.
For spoiler photos have emerged of distraught mum Abi Franklin concealing a gun as she heads to confront lying murderer Corey Brent who escaped justice in his trial for the murder of Abi's son Seb.
Corrie airs this week on ITV on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
