Is Conor McGregor done? Cryptic tweet says fans 'wouldn't believe' him if he retired

Conor McGregor has again hinted that he could have fought for the last time in the UFC.

The fighter said in March on this year that he was retiring from mixed martial arts but has since resumed training with a octagon comeback mooted before the end of the year.

But the Crumlin man tweeted in the early hours of Friday morning: "I’d tell you I’m done but you wouldn’t believe me."

McGregor has a history of threatening to hang up his gloves.

In 2016, he said he decided to “retire young” after UFC pulled him off the UFC 200 card.

McGregor last fought in the octagon in October 2018 when he slumped to a submission loss to lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov.

And Floyd Mayweather has laughed off any chance of a rematch with the man he beat in his professional boxing debut.
