Is Clarkson's Farm cancelled? Fans disappointed as Jeremy Clarkson gives second series update

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has addressed rumours a second series of Clarkson's Farm is in production.

The Amazon Prime series follows the Who Wants to be a Millionaire host as he attempts to run his 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds and has proved hugely popular among viewers. Since the documentary series launched back in June fans have been calling for another, and now Jeremy has shared an update.

The 61-year-old urged people to "write to Amazon" as he confirmed the second series of the popular farm show was not in production.

One viewer wrote: "Can you confirm If the rumours are true that they are shooting series 2?!"

"No. We aren't. Write to Amazon, it's their decision," Jeremy responded.

It comes after Jeremy told fans at the beginning of July that a second series hadn't been renewed yet but that he was "hopeful".

Writing to his 7.3 million Twitter followers, he said: "Dear everyone. There has been some speculation that a second series of our farming programme has been commissioned. It hasn't but we are hopeful." However, he also added that it had not been "cancelled". We are approaching Amazon for comment.

Season one of the Amazon Original followed Jeremy as he worked his farm with "unhelpful weather, disobedient animals and unresponsive crops".

The series showcased Jeremy's unique take, with the help of a team, including Gerald, Kaleb and "cheerful Charlie", and shed light on the struggles those in the industry face each year. You can watch the first series on Amazon Prime now.
