Is Celtic vs Blackburn Rovers on TV? Channel, stream and kick off details ahead of pre season clash

What a difference 12 months makes for Celtic as the Premiership champions return home to take on Blackburn Rovers.

Celtic are gearing up for pre season friendly number four, with the English Championship side their opponents. After some impressive displays on the road, the Hoops will be looking to make it four on the bounce without a defeat as they continue preparations for the 2022/23 campaign. The next season poses some testing ties for Ange Postecoglou and his men as they take their spot in the Champions League group stage. And there is the small matter of keeping hold of that all so important Premiership title, too.

The Celtic boss has already had the chance to cast an eye over his new recruits during the first three clashes, but the weekend gives the squad some extra minutes to show their gaffer what they are made of. Summer business is not quite wrapped up at Parkhead, with 'one or two more' new faces expected before the transfer window slams shut. A midfielder is top of the wish list, with Fausto Vera among the stars linked with a move to Glasgow's east end.

But for now, focus is firmly on Saturday's game as Parkhead supporters as new Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson returns to Glasgow for the first time since a triumphant night across the city when they eliminated Rangers from the Champions League last season.
