Manchester City have the chance to go top of the Premier League as they take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday night.

Burnley look set to be relegated in the coming weeks and spurned a lead at Nottingham Forest on Sunday, eventually losing 4-1 at the City Ground. Scott Parker’s side are 12 points off safety with five games remaining.

As for City, their massive 2-1 win over title rivals Arsenal puts them three points behind the table-topping Gunners. Yet just one goal behind on goal-difference - and with more goals scored - any victory on Wednesday will take them to the top of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s side thrashed Burnley 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium back in September, with Erling Haaland scoring twice. The Norwegian is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 23 goals this season and is on a high after his match-winner against Arsenal on Sunday.

Here’s everything you need to know.
