Is Britain's Got Talent: The Champions live on ITV and do the public get to vote?

For the second time in the year, Britain's Got Talent is back with a special super series to fill that Saturday night void.

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions will see previous winners and other memorable acts take to the stage once again in a bid to become the champion of champions.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will return for hosting duties and Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will all be back on the judging panel.

From Saturday August 31 at 8pm on ITV and for the next six weeks, up to eight acts will perform their act in front of the judges and a studio audience.

Then, two acts from each episode will make it to the grand final on October 5.

But is it live?

Sadly, it's has already been filmed and the winner has already been crowned.

This means it is not the public who gets to make the decisions.

The first of the two acts each week is a Golden Buzzer act chosen by one of the judges or Ant and Dec while the second is voted through by superfans in the arena audience.

Britain's Got Talent: The Champions airs on Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
