Europa League finalists Rangers will be hoping their next pre-season friendly is unlike the farce which stopped their clash with Sunderland.
Gio van Bronckhorst's side are set to travel to Lancashire on Saturday to face English Championship Blackpool following their return from a training camp in the Algarve. Their trip to Portugal included a clash against Alex Neil's Sunderland side. But the friendly was abandoned at half time following a flood light failure.
