Is Ben Roethlisberger’s long-term replacement currently on the Steelers roster?

2020 might be the last best chance for the Pittsburgh Steelers to win a Super Bowl. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is back but you have to assume his seasons are numbered. But bigger than Roethlisberger, potential changes in the salary cap for next season and a significant list of free agents could mean this is the last time we see a Steelers team this loaded for some time.

Having said that, if there is a re-build on the horizon, it must start at the top. Despite all the struggles at quarterback, last season, the Steelers front office stood pat with the existing quarterback depth chart.

This strategy might work for 2020 assuming Roethlisberger is 100 percent healthy and doesn’t have any injury issues, but how comfortable are you with some combination of Mason Rudolph, Devlin Hodges and Paxton Lynch going forward?

Cast your vote and let us know if you think Pittsburgh is set at quarterback for the future.
