Is Bayern Munich vs Chelsea on TV? Kick-off time, live stream details and team news

It is back to action for Chelsea after the disappointment of the FA Cup final defeat last weekend.

The Blues lost to Arsenal at Wembley Stadium thanks to a double from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

But Frank Lampard’s men don’t have much time to dwell on the defeat as they are in Champions League round of 16 action tonight (Saturday).

Chelsea are in Germany for the second leg of their tie against German Champions Bayern Munich.

Chelsea training session ahead of Bayern Munich clash

It will take a big effort from the Blues as they trail the Bundesliga club 3-0 from the first leg, which took place before the suspension of fixtures.

But, as is known, anything is possible when it comes to football, especially in the Champions League.

Here are all the details you need about the game in Germany.

When is the game?

The game takes place on Saturday, 8 August, with kick-off at 8pm.

The match is being played at Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena.

Is it on TV?

Yes, the game will be shown live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting at 7pm.

BT Sport customers will also be able to stream the game live on a mobile device via the BT Sport app.

There will also be options to watch either with or without added crowd noise.

Team news

Frank Lampard could be without up to eight players for the game due to injury.

Willian is closing in on a move to Arsenal and has not travelled with the Blues squad ahead of the game.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek missed the FA Cup final with an injury and could be a doubt for the game, while Cesar Azpilicueta, Christian Pulisic and Pedro were all injured during the game at Wembley Stadium.

They will join long-term absentees Marco van Ginkel and Billy Gilmour on the sidelines.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile will be without Kingsley Coman for the match, with the France international joining Benjamin Pavard on the sidelines.
