Is Arsenal v Southampton on TV? Live stream details and kick-off time for Amazon Prime clash

Arsenal host Ralph Hassenhutl's high-flying Southampton to the Emirates tonight in a game live on Amazon Prime Video.

For many, tonight is considered a must-win for Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, whose side head into the game off the back of four successive home defeats.

The Saints, then, are perhaps not the side that Arteta would have hoped to have seen on the schedule.

Southampton were third in the table based on their home form throughout the 2019/20 season and have suffered just one defeat on their travels so far this term.

In what may be considered better news for Arsenal fans, the Gunners haven't suffered a league defeat to Southampton since an Old Division One game back in 1987. They have, however, had recent successes at the Emirates in both the FA Cup and the (then-called) Capital One Cup.

What channel is Arsenal v Southampton on?

The game is part of Amazon Prime Video's Premier League offering over Christmas with the channel having exclusive rights to 24 games over Christmas.

Arsenal's game against Southampton kicks off tonight, December 16, at 6pm.

What is the early Arsenal v Southampton team news?

Hector Bellerin and Granit Xhaka will both miss the game through suspension.

David Luiz will be assessed before kick off, while Reiss Nelson and Sead Kolasinac are both unlikely to feature.

No return date has yet been set for both Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli.

Southampton meanwhile have a fully fit squad to choose from.
