Irvine Welsh shares brilliant Trainspotting 'Choose life' NHS parody - 'Janet, back off'

Trainspotting creator Irvine Welsh has shared a brilliant coronavirus parody of the film's famous Choose Life scene.

A man on a running machine has re-written the famous quote for the Covid-19 lockdown age.

His hilarious re-write includes: "Choose staying at home, choose staying at home, choose good health.

"Choose swapping your favourite smelling perfume with the clinical musk of antibacterial gel"

Irvine Welsh shared the parody this morning on Twitter, saying: Tend to get a bit bored with Trainspotting parodies but this one is for the ⁦ NHS so all good."

The video, which we're sure will soon go viral, ends: "The reasons, who needs reasons when you've got to protect our NHS? Ya absolute spoon!"

"Here's tae the carers".

Have you got any COVID-19 inspired parodies? We'd love to see them.
