Irvine Meadow manager Brian McGinty has blasted the SJFA's "archaic" disciplinary system after he was hit with a six game touchline ban.
The punishment was meted out this week in the wake of McGinty's dismissal in the 1-1 draw against Largs Thistle on Saturday, March 23.
Referee Jordan Paterson sent him to the stands for his protests after striker Roddy Paterson was denied a late burst on goal by a controversial linesman’s flag.

McGinty, who was previously sent off against Pollok in September, will now miss Meadow's final two league games and the first four fixtures next season as a result of the second offence.
He said: "Rules are rules and we all know them at the start of the season so I've no complaints in the regard - but it's a ridiculous one.
"How do you go from a first offence with no punishment to a second one with a six game ban? There's no middle ground. It's an archaic rule to say the least.
"The SFA have punishments at lower, medium, and higher levels. There needs to be a scale like that in the Juniors. It goes from one extreme to the other as things stand.

"Hopefully next year when the pyramid comes into affect we will fall into line with those rules.
"I accept that I did wrong but when you see things like that (the offside decision) it's hard to stand on the sidelines and say bite your tongue."
