Irvine Meadow have been dealt a double injury blow amid uncertainty surrounding the remainder of their pre-season campaign.
Defender Darren Miller is facing months on the sidelines with a serious shoulder injury.
Fellow centre-half Calum Gow is out for at least four weeks with a suspected fractured foot.
Manager Colin Spence said: "It's not great news but we built a squad over the summer to ensure we wouldn't be left short in situations like this.
"We have two players for every position so we are in a better place than we would have been last year."

The news comes as Meadow find themselves in limbo with no further pre-season games lined up and no start date for the season in sight.
Meadow had to cancel a friendly against Kilwinning Rangers on Saturday after Medda committee members tested positive for coronavirus.
Spence added: “There’s no risk to the players but at the moment we’re left kicking our heels a bit.
“We planned our pre-season around starting the league in October and I’m not sure there’s any point arranging any more games with nothing to aim for.”
