Colin Spence set his sights on chalking up more league doubles after his Irvine Meadow side put Cumnock to the sword for the second time this season.
Saturday's 3-1 home victory followed up a 2-0 win at Townhead Park back in August to give Meadow a full complement of six West of Scotland League Premier Division points against their Ayrshire rivals.
And having already done the double over Rutherglen Glencairn in their previous league outing, co-boss Spence is keen to complete more home and away scalps between now and the end of the campaign.
They'll have a chance to add to their tally this weekend when they take on Cumbernauld at Guy's Meadow – hoping for a repeat of the 2-0 victory they enjoyed in the reverse fixture.
And Spence said: "It’s important to tick teams off like that.
"That's two on the bounce now in the league. That’s important because it can take you two or three places up the table.
"It will be massive if we can make it three and get back up closer to the pack.
"We’ve beat Cumbernauld a couple of times this season in the league and the Scottish Junior Cup but they are a very difficult opponent and there's no doubt they will make it hard for us."
Two own goals by Cumnock defender Greg Ferry made Meadow's task easier on Saturday, but Spence was delighted with his side's overall performance.
He added: "Cumnock are fighting for their lives so we knew they would come here and they’d make it a battle.
"I thought we defended quite well. I don’t remember Cumnock really piercing us open. I thought we managed the game well which is something we’re trying to drum into the players."
'Nock boss Brian McGinty refused to look for any hard luck stories after his side failed to build on back-to-back league wins.
He said: "The manner of the goals we lost was disappointing but I think it's fair to say Meadow were worthy winners on the day."
