Irvine cat owner appeals for public's help after pet goes missing

A distraught Irvine woman is appealing for Irvine Herald readers to check their sheds and gardens for her beloved cat.

Winston,  who is microchipped and aged six, was last seen in the garden of Lesley Grant's  Girdle Toll home and she hopes the hot weather forced him to take shelter in someone’s garden shed.

The devoted cat owner has spent the last week putting up posters and knocking doors in the Irvine area.

“I am hoping he has taken shelter somewhere and turns up but it’s a real worry,” said Lesley.

“I worry someone has taken him or he has come to harm but I just want to know.”

If you have seen Winston contact Lesley on 07956288578.
