The Vikings announced what numbers their 2019 draft class will wear, at least for the upcoming season.
The most notable thing that sticks out is that tight end Irv Smith Jr. will wear Randy Moss’ No. 84, a number that should definitely be retired at some point. But it appears as if Smith will wear it for the foreseeable future.
The other is that running back Alexander Mattison will wear No. 25, the same number that Latavius Murray wore with the Vikings. Mattison, of course, will hope to replace Murray as the team’s backup running back.
