Feb. 09--Actor and television host Mark Dacascos, best known as the Chairman on the cooking competition series "Iron Chef America," has sold his longtime home in Westlake Village for $1.45 million.
The Traditional-style home in the North Ranch area has living, family and dining rooms, a wet bar and a gym in more than 4,500 square feet of living space. An open-plan kitchen features an island with custom cabinetry, travertine backsplashes and a walk-in pantry.

French doors open to multiple patios, brick-lined planters, a large deck, fountains and lawns. A detached three-car garage sits off the side of the home.
Dacascos bought the property nearly two decades ago for $741,500, records show. He was asking as much as $1.575 million for the home.
Robert Shimp of Engel Voelkers Westlake Village was the listing agent. Catherine Fields of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices repped the buyer.
The 51-year-old Dacascos has appeared in such TV series as "Stargate: Atlantis," "Hawaii Five-0" and more recently "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." He was a competitor on season nine of "Dancing with the Stars."
