IRN-BRU fans have voted for ‘Tropical’ and ‘Ice Cream’ to become the new limited edition IRN-BRU XTRA flavours for summer 2020.
Nearly 13,000 votes were cast in a Facebook poll, with Tropical and Ice Cream declared the eventual winners.
The new flavours of the drink will now go into production at AG Barr’s factory in Cumbernauld, and you will see them in the shops from around mid-May.
IRN-BRU urged Facebook followers of the "iconic" Scottish drink to choose their favourite flavour using emojis to vote.
5,300 people chose Tropical and 4,000 opted for Ice Cream.
Meanwhile, Candy Floss received 2,400 votes and Marshmallow came last with 1,000 votes.
Adrian Troy, AG Barr Marketing Director, said: “The battle was fierce, but our fans have spoken with Tropical and Ice Cream chosen as our limited edition summer flavours. We’re always looking to give our fans something XTRA and we can’t wait for these two new phenomenal flavours to hit shop shelves.”
AG Barr say the two limited edition XTRA flavours will be sold in 500ml (RRP 99p) and 1.5l (RRP £1.29) bottles across Scotland.
Worried fans tweeted the company to ask about the regular flavour, but the company were quick to reassure that original IRN-BRU will still be on sale.
