Irishman praises stranger for random act of kindness and says it was his ‘Christmas miracle’

An Irishman has praised a stranger after showing a “rare” moment of kindness in the midst of the Christmas shopping chaos.

Everyone has, at one time or another, been subject to the lengthy search for a car space in December - and sometimes even do a u-turn on shopping plans as a result.

Well, according to one anonymous Reddit user, after a long time of searching for a spot, a stranger in a BMW did something not often seen in these busy times.

The man said that he had “seen the Christmas miracle!!!”

He explained: “Looking for a street parking space and it's jammers, and I thought I had one, put my indicator on and I hadn't noticed the lad in the Suzuki swift getting ready to reverse in, so I had to move on.

“Then a guy in a series 7 BMW started beeping his horn and gesturing at me.

“I thought I must have been blocking him in, but he was waving that he was leaving and I could have his space.

“Then the miracle happened, he waited while I went 200 yards down the road, did a legal turn, and came back before he acknowledged me again and pulled out.

“Man I don't know what's happening, covid seems to be spreading like mad, but the Christmas spirit seems to have infected that m7 man.”

People have been responding in delight with one person writing: “You'll be thinking about this Christmas miracle for a while.”

A second said: “This is as good as it gets,” while a third wrote: “It’s great to hear man, have a great Christmas.”

Another joked: “That. Is. Rare.”
