An Irishman who went missing in Spain's capital city after he failed to board a flight home from Madrid on Saturday has been found safe and well.
James O'Sullivan's family were "very worried" after he never made the journey to Ireland.
The 30-year-old, who was not heard from since Saturday morning, shared an update on his Instagram account on Monday announcing that he was fine.
"I am OK, I hit a speedbump on my way home from Nicaragua. Thanks everyone and sorry."
An appeal for information had been launched by his family and friends who asked people to keep an eye out for James.
His sister Emma said their family were grateful for everyone's help in trying to locate him.

She said: "James is OK! He is safe and healthy. Thank you so much [to] everyone who has been helping us.
"We are so so grateful."
Emma had previously asked people in Madrid to come forward with information about sightings of her brother.
She said in a post online on Sunday: "Looking for some help in Madrid, Spain. Any help/share/contact is greatly appreciated.
"My brother James didn't get on his flight home from Madrid last night and he hasn't been contactable or online since.
"We think he went for breakfast at Citynizer Plaza around 9.30.
"He may have been wearing a green and yellow Hawaiin shirt with palm trees. He was due to board the flight at 10pm from Madrid airport but he didn't arrive.
"We are all very worried and would like to know he is safe. Any help/share is so appreciated."
In a subsequent update, Emma said James was staying at The Central House hostel in Madrid and he checked out at 10.30am.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs earlier told the Irish Mirror they were aware of reports and stood ready to provide consular assistance as possible and upon request.
