Irish WWE star Becky Lynch celebrates first Mother's Day with adorable pic of daughter Roux

Irish WWE star Becky Lynch has celebrated her first Mother's Day, with her fiancé and fellow wrestler Seth Rollins sharing an adorable picture of her and baby daughter Roux on social media.

The Limerick-born grappler gave birth to the couple's first daughter in December, and with Mother's Day being celebrated over the weekend in the States, it gave Rollins the opportunity to post the first pic of Roux since the birth.

On Instagram, Seth shared a sweet black and white photo of Lynch cradling Roux with the caption:

"So very lucky my daughter gets to call you Mom.

"Happy (first) Mother’s Day to you...And to anyone out there who has ever held the title, us non-moms are not worthy. Thank you for raising us, teaching us, and believing in us no matter what."

The 34-year-old star stunned WWE fans by announcing she was pregnant live on Raw in May last year.

The baby news came a year after the couple went public with their relationship in May 2019, with a black-and-white picture of the couple sharing a kiss on Rollins’ Instagram.

Three months later, Lynch announced their engagement by posting a shot of the couple on a beach, with the Irish star showing off a ring on her left hand.

“Happiest day of my life. For the rest of my life,” she said.

“I’ve always, always wanted kids,” Becky told PEOPLE after announcing she was expecting.

“I’m just so career-focused that it became one of those things that, when you’re chasing a dream for so long, I always wondered, ‘Am I going to get around to it? Is it going to happen for me?’ “

They were set to be married before Covid-19 took over the world.

“We’ll get around to that,” Lynch told People.

“There’s no rush, and now we’ll have a little flower girl."
