Irish woman horrified after husband captures two crows as 'birthday surprise'

An Irish woman was left horrified after her "birthday surprise" from her husband took a very unexpected turn.

Taking to TikTok, the woman's husband shared a video of himself welcoming his wife home as he eagerly awaited to give her the birthday present.

In the footage, the woman was seen walking into the house in a rain jacket, carrying a child's schoolbag and some groceries.

Standing at the door, her husband greets her, saying: "There's the birthday girl."

He then convinces the woman to close her eyes as he encourages her to have a look in the front room of their house to receive her present.

The woman eventually obliges, saying: "Okay, they're closed", before being led into the room as her husband sings happy birthday.

To her horror, the woman opens her eyes to see two black feathered crows flying around her home.

She exclaimed: 'Oh my god, what the f***! Oh my god, what the f*** Benny!"

The husband then joked: "I couldn't get two doves, so I got you two crows instead".

In complete disbelief, the woman continued: "Benny, what the f***? How are they in the house?"

He replied: "I got you two crows, Nadine. Happy birthday!"

Adding: "Well, are you impressed?"

Looking a little less than impressed with the surprise, Nadine replied: "How the f*** are they in the house?"

Laughing hysterically, Benny answered saying: "I got them for your birthday".

The video has since received over 200,000 views as people joked that the 'surprise' may have cost the man his marriage.

One person wrote: "chap definitely slept on the couch for the week worth it, happy birthday Nadine hope you enjoy your crows".

A second said: "Happy house hunting too Benny".

While a third commented: "That's u kicked out" and a fourth said: "Grounds for divorce".

Others said they would have to give the house a deep cleanse if the same prank was pulled on them.

They said: "I would have to fumigate the whole house with bleach Crows are vultures never know what diseases they be carrying it is funny tho".
