Irish winner of €272,000 Euromillions jackpot has not yet claimed their prize

A punter who scooped nearly a quarter of a million euro in a Euromillions draw in March has not yet claimed their prize.

One lucky player matched five numbers in the draw on March 5, cashing a whopping €272,165.

But ticketholders have just 90 days to claim their winnings, and the National Lottery has now urged players to check their tickets with only a month to go before the June 3 deadline.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought on Saturday March 2, at McKeons Love Fresh store in Kells.

And Damien Duffy, who runs the store, has called on the fortunate customer to make sure they don't miss out on the "life-changing" jackpot.

He said: “€272,165 could be a life-changing sum of money for one of our customers so we are urgently appealing to everybody who may have bought a lottery ticket in the store to start checking their tickets.

"There was great excitement in the town at the time of the win but now we really need to remind all of our customers to start checking their pockets, handbags and their cars for this golden ticket.”

The winning EuroMillions numbers for the draw on Tuesday 5th March were: 6, 10, 16, 39, 46 and the Lucky Stars were 8 and 11.
