A scorching hot run of days is in store for Ireland as temperatures are set to soar to 25C.
Met Eireann is forecasting highs of 23C on Saturday and up to 25C on Sunday and Monday.
Meanwhile, Friday will see a mix of cloud and sunshine, with the best conditions in the south. Highest temperatures will range from 17C to 22C.
A forecaster said: "Today will be mainly dry with a fair amount of cloud and some sunny intervals, the best of these in the south and southeast.
"Some light showers will affect northern parts of Connacht and Ulster and a few will drift down to south Ulster and north Leinster.
"Highest temperatures of 17C to 22C with moderate northwest breezes."
A forecaster added: "Tonight will be dry with a mix of cloudy periods and some clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 10C to 12C."
It's going to be a great weekend weather-wise, with warm, dry and clear sunny spells forecast.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Saturday will be dry with bright or sunny spells.
"Highest temperatures of 17C to 23C with mostly light northerly breezes, coolest in the north and wamest in the south.
"Saturday night will be dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 9C to 11C degrees.
"Sunday will be warm and dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 20C to 25C and mainly easterly breezes."
Monday will be as warm, and mostly dry, but heavy showers may hit in the evening.
"Monday will be warm also with highest temperatures of 21C to 25C.
"Much of the day will be dry. However through the evening showers or longer spells of rain will move up from the south."
