And it will continue to heat up tomorrow, although temperatures will dip slightly on Sunday, but it will stay mild in most areas.
A forecaster added: "Tomorrow, Saturday, will be cloudier with patchy rain in the west and northwest.
"The rest of the country will stay mainly dry with the best of the sunshine in the southeast.

"Sunday will be mainly dry with sunny spells. Temperatures will range between 18 and 22C the best in the east, and winds will be light northwest or variable in direction.
Looking ahead to next week conditions will be mixed, staying largely dry and warm on Monday but with rain making an appearance again by Tuesday.
