A wet and cold weekend is on the cards as Met Eireann has predicted rain and temperatures as low as 2C over the weekend.
While the last couple of days were dry and sunny with temperatures reaching the highs of 15C, the weekend will see unsettled weather.
Friday will be dry for most of the country with sunny spells but a few light showers are to be expected locally in western counties.
Temperatures will be between 10C to 13C.

Dry conditions set to continue into Friday night with lowest temperatures of 2C to 5C.
Saturday will also be largely dry at first with sunny spells.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: “Cloud will gradually thicken through the afternoon and rain will develop the west during the evening.
“Highest temperatures of 9C to 11C and feeling cool in the fresh southeast winds.
“Rain will continue on Saturday night over Munster, Connacht and western parts of Leinster, but elsewhere it will still be largely dry.
“Lowest temperatures of 3C to 7C in fresh southeasterly winds.”
Sunday will be cold with rain in Munster and Connacht.
Highest temperatures of just 6C to 9C.
“It looks like most areas will be dry on Sunday night but rain is set to continue on west and southwest coasts.
“Rain is likely again on Monday in many areas with the heaviest rain in the west and southwest and good dry periods in the east and north.
“Afternoon temperatures will be around 10C with ongoing fresh and gusty southeast breezes.”
