While Ireland basked in golden sunshine over the Bank Holiday Weekend, Met Eireann has warned of a big change coming our way.
Temperatures are set to nosedive by 10C and thundery showers are in store this week.
But don’t worry, we have a day or two good weather so you still have time to make the most of it.

Monday
Monday will be warm and dry with good sunny spells.
There may be some mist towards the southeast, south and southwest coasts and a risk of an isolated shower in the south and east.
Temperatures will hit the highs of 21C in most areas of the country except for the south and southwest coast where top temperatures will be between 16C to 17C.
Monday night will start off dry with some scattered showers in the south and east which will spread northwards later in the night.
Lowest temperatures will be 6C to 10C.

Tuesday
Tuesday will see isolated showers with some sunny spells.
Temperatures will stay on the warm side ranging between 17C to 21C.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: “A warm, humid and misty night follows on Tuesday night with showery outbreaks of rain moving up over the country from the southeast. Minima of 8C to 11C in mainly light east to southeast breezes.”
Wednesday
Things will start to change on Wednesday which will see a showery start with outbreaks of rain over most of the country.
“There is the potential for some heavy and thundery showers to develop later in the afternoon and evening.
