Ireland is set to be colder than Iceland on Sunday night as a cold snap grips the country again.
Temperatures haven't dipped below 0C for most of this week, following on from the bitterly cold conditions experienced earlier last week.
But Met Eireann is forecasting temperatures to plummet to -2C on Saturday night, and as low as -3C on Sunday - making it colder than the Icelandic capital Reykjavík.
A forecaster said: "It will be cold and mainly dry over Saturday night with long clear spells and just a slight risk of passing showers on northern and eastern coasts.
"Lowest temperatures zero to -2C, in light northeast winds.
"Frost will form in many places with icy stretches on untreated surfaces. A few fog patches also."
The forecaster added: "It'll be cold and clear on Sunday night with sub-zero temperatures, with values as low as -3 degrees in some areas."
A predicted temperature weather map from Met Eireann shows the Midlands will experience the coldest conditions.

Parts of the south and west are also expected to feel sub-zero temperatures.
The national forecaster has also warned of a "sharp frost" which may lead to dangerous driving conditions.
The forecaster added: "A sharp frost with some ice on untreated roads and also a few fog patches. Winds will remain light northerly."
