Ireland is set for a dry and sunny day at times with temperatures of up to 15C.
Met Eireann has forecasted a mild day ahead but warned temperatures are to plunge to below freezing overnight.
Wednesday is to be cloudy overall, with parts of Munster and Leinster expected to get the best of the sunshine. Top temperatures will range from 11C to 15C.
Met Eireann said: "Largely dry today. Rather cloudy overall, but some bright or sunny spells, with the best of the sunshine expected over Munster and south Leinster.

"Top temperatures of 11C to 15C, in light to moderate southwest breezes."
It should remain dry on Wednesday night, but temperatures will drop to as low as -1C.
There is a chance frost will develop under areas not covered by cloud. Patches of mist and fog may also occur in places with clear skies overnight.
A spokesperson added: "Staying mostly dry tonight with a mix of clear spells and cloudy periods.

"Long clear spells are expected over the southern half of the country, with mostly cloudy skies further north, with possibly the odd spot of drizzle in coastal areas.
"Lows of -1C to 4C, with some frost developing under the clear breaks, along with some patches of mist and fog."
Thursday is to be warmer again with highs of 16C.
A dry day with sunny spells is predicted after the morning mist clears.
"Thursday will be a dry day with some good sunny spells, developing after early morning frost and fog clears.
"Top temperatures 13C to 16C, in moderate southwest breezes."
