Irish weather forecast: Met Eireann predicts dry and sunny day with highs of 20C

A dry and sunny Tuesday is in store for Ireland as summer looks set to stay.

Met Eireann is forecasting warm days with a good deal of sunshine this week, despite it being cooler than last week.

Parts of the north will experience showers in the morning, but it should be a clear afternoon for most of the country. Highest temperatures will range from 18C to 20C.

A forecaster said: "Isolated showers in the north will clear this morning and it will be dry again today with some cloudy periods but also good spells of sunshine.
