The sunshine is set to return to Ireland on Sunday after a bleak week of rain and freezing temperatures.
The country has been experiencing bitterly cold conditions and heavy rainfall since the blast of warm weather over the Easter holidays.
But Met Eireann has confirmed that it will be a sunny end to the week, with temperatures of up to 16C on the way.
A spokesperson said: "It'll be bright and dry on Sunday with spells of sunshine.

"Turning milder too, with afternoon temperatures recovering to nearer to normal for the time of year, between 13C and 16C, in light to moderate southeast breezes. "
And early forecasts suggest that the sun will continue to shine into next week.
Met Eireann said: "Current indications suggest a return of more seasonable temperatures generally with dry, settled weather bringing spells of sunshine in light south to southeast breezes."
However, the next few days will stay relatively cold with highest temperatures not expected to surpass 13C on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Thursday
Thursday will be another wet day, with thunder showers possible in the afternoon.
A freezing cold Thursday night is in store for parts of the country, as temperatures drop to as low as 0C.
Friday
Friday should be drier, but heavy showers will hit parts of Ulster. Top temperatures will range between 9C to 12C.
Saturday
Saturday will be warmer and drier again, despite scattered showers affecting some areas.
Parts of Ireland will experience near freezing conditions on Saturday night, before temperatures soar on Sunday.
