Ireland is set for a warm and sunny week with temperatures soaring to 23C this weekend.
However it's not all good news, as weather experts warned showers are possible at times on both Saturday and Sunday, as a band of rain moves across the country.
Today will see more warm conditions in most areas, with highs of 21C expected this afternoon and tomorrow.
A forecaster said: "Any fog patches clearing quickly this morning. Another dry day with long periods of sunshine and highs of 17 to 21C in light southeasterly breezes.
"Little change for Thursday; dry and sunny with highs of 18 to 21C in light southeast breezes, coolest along the Leinster and south-Munster coast.
"Friday will be another warm and sunny day with good sunshine but southeasterly winds will be fresher. Highs of 17 to 21C, warmest across the west of the country."
And Saturday looks set to be the hottest day of the week, but it will turn wetter as the day goes on, particularly in the west.
A forecaster added: "Warmest day of current spell, temperatures reaching 22 or 23C in some parts of the west and midlands.
"Still good sunshine through the east of the country but cloud increasing along western coastal counties during the day with outbreaks of rain developing in the afternoon and evening.
"The rain will then extend to the rest of the country overnight.
"Rain clearing the east coast during Sunday morning, clear and dry elsewhere.
"Bright and sunny in the afternoon with just the odd shower, feeling fresher with highs of 16 to 19C in southwest breezes."
