Ireland is set for a warm and sunny week with temperatures expected to soar to 23C this weekend.
However it's not all good news, with widespread patches of cloud and even fog possible throughout the week.
Today will start off cooler before turning brighter and sunnier as the day goes on, with highs of 19C.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Early mist and fog this morning soon clearing to give a dry, bright and fairly sunny day.
"A cool start, but mild by early afternoon, with top temperatures of 15 to 19C. Light variable winds will be moderate in any local sea breezes.
"Wednesday will be another dry, bright and mostly sunny day, but the sunshine may turn hazy in places. Warm by early afternoon, with top temperatures of 17 to 20C.
"Light variable winds will be locally moderate in sea breezes."
And more warm weather is expected on Thursday and Friday, with values peaking at 21C on both days.
But the mildest conditions are predicted for the weekend, with highs of 23C possible in places.
A forecaster added: "Breezy on Saturday, with some hazy sunshine, but rather cloudy along the south and west coasts, with some rain or showers likely to develop.
"Warm in sunshine, with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties and locally up to 23 C., in a few central and northern areas.
"But a little fresher on exposed southern coasts due to fresh and gusty southeast winds."
