Five counties have been hit with a Status Yellow rainfall warning, while four have been issued with a wind alert this weekend.
Met Eireann is forecasting a wet and windy few days, with the western counties set to be the worst affected.
A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Kerry, as gusts of up to 100km/h are set to batter the coasts. The warning is valid between Saturday at 7am and Sunday at 3am.
Meanwhile, a rainfall warning will be in place for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry between Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 6pm.
A spokesperson said: "A blustery or windy day for Saturday.
"Mostly cloudy over the western half of the country, but some hazy sunshine in east.

"Most places dry, but rain will develop in the southwest in the late afternoon and later along the west coast.
"Top temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius but feeling colder in the wind. Fresh to strong and gusty southeast winds will reach Gale force along Atlantic coastal areas."
Sunday will be cold again with highest temperatures of between 6C and 9C.
A spokesperson added: "Sunday will be a cold day with further rain across Munster and Connacht.
"Elsewhere it will stay largely dry but rather cloudy. The rain will become lighter and more intermittent as the day goes on.
"Highest temperatures of just 6 to 9 degrees with a brisk southeast wind as well.
"It looks like most areas will be dry on Sunday night but rain is set to continue on west and southwest coasts."
