Another wind warning has been issued as strong gusts are set to batter the east for a short time on Monday morning.
Met Eireann has issued the Status Yellow alert for Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
The weather chiefs said gusts of up to 90km/h are expected to hit.
The caution for those counties will end at 11am - when the same warning for Cork, Waterford and Wexford will also expire.
A forecaster: "Very windy for a time this morning with a band of heavy rain pushing quickly eastwards across the country.

"The rain will clear into the Irish Sea before lunchtime with sunny spells and well-scattered showers following from the west.
"Strong to gale force southerly winds will veer west to southwest by afternoon and moderate. Maximum temperatures of 7C to 10C."
