Ireland will bask in 21C sunshine this weekend as a late summer burst of sunshine heats up the country.
Temperatures peak on Saturday, when the mercury is expected to shoot up to 26C, according to Met Eireann.
A high pressure area coming from the south is building over Ireland which will bring fine weather on Saturday which bodes well for the All-Ireland final replay between Kerry and Dublin at 6pm on Saturday evening.
The All-Ireland ladies final takes place on Sunday between Galway and Dublin in Croke Park which will be a slightly cooler day with temperatures of 20C.
There is a possibility of rain.

Next week is also likely to be a fairly warm affair as high pressure hangs over Ireland.
Things will turn cloudier on Monday, although it will be mainly dry and settled.
Current indications are for dry, settled weather, with high pressure dominating on Tuesday.


There will be some sunny intervals each day next week, with mostly light variable winds.
Temperatures around normal at first, ranging between 15 and 19 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, but it will become a little milder after midweek, with values of 16 to 20 Celsius.
Met Eireann posted on Twitter today: "Mainly dry and bright today, with sunny spells. Maximum temperatures 15 to 18 Celsius, in mostly light west to southwest or variable breezes."
