Ireland will be hotter than Los Angeles on Saturday as temperatures soar to 23C.
Met Eireann is forecasting a scorching hot Good Friday, with parts of the west and the midlands expected to see 22C temperatures.
A spokesman said: "It's going to be dry and calm on Friday with long spells of hazy sunshine.
"Temperatures will be a little higher again, with afternoon values ranging 16C to 22C, with best values across the midlands and west.

"Friday night will stay dry and calm with long clear spells, though cloud will build across the west and northwest later."
And the temperatures will be even higher on Saturday - making it warmer than LA which will see highs of just 20C.
Although Saturday will be hotter than Friday, it will be cloudier and some light rain could hit the western and northern counties.
A Met Eireann spokesman said: "Saturday will be another mild or warm day.

"It'll be mostly dry and calm too with any early mist soon clearing.
"There will be long spells of warm hazy spring sunshine across much of Leinster and Munster.
"However, somewhat cloudier conditions are expected elsewhere with patchy drizzle possibly affecting west and northwest coastal areas towards evening.
"Top temperatures will range between 16C to 22C or 23C. Patchy drizzle may push inland across the west and north overnight, with mist and fog developing in near calm."
