It has been a foggy start to Wednesday morning in several places but the fog and mist will clear to reveal a dry day with highs of 17C.
And with highs of 11C to 17C, we'll see similar temperatures to Barcelona in sunny Spain where highest temperatures will only hit 16C on Wednesday.
Forecasters say we can expect a "mix of cloud and hazy sunshine", however, coastal districts of the east and south may be affected by sea mist.
The west will see the warmest weather with light to moderate southeast breezes, fresh and gusty at times along the west and southwest coast.
Looking ahead to Thursday, Met Eireann forecasters revealed the pleasant weather will continue with temperatures climbing even higher.
A forecaster said: "Dry with good sunny spells, once early mist and fog patches clear. Highs of 14C to 19C, warmest again in the west, with the onshore light to moderate east to southeast breezes keeping eastern and southern coasts coolest."
Meanwhile, Good Friday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the year yet, with highs of 21C predicted.
Met Eireann said: "Good Friday will be dry and warm with long spells of, at times hazy, spring sunshine.

"Top temperatures 17C to 21C, but a few degrees cooler in the coastal fringes of the east and south. Light winds and sea breezes.
"Dry overnight with thickening cloud in the west and northwest. Lowest temperatures 6C to 10C degrees. A few patches of mist will form in the light, variable breezes."
And the long weekend looks good with highs of 21C expected on Saturday also.
Easter Sunday looks set to be cloudier but temperatures could reach highs of 16C.
