Ireland will see a mixed bag of weather today with some sunny spells and highs of 15C but also cloudy patches and rain showers in places.
And although temperatures will be mild during the week, we'll be hit by thundery downpours on Thursday, forecasters say.
Conditions will turn colder on Friday night with grass frost and lows of 1C.
Looking ahead to today, Met Eireann said: "A damp and misty start in many areas this morning but drier and brighter weather will extend quickly to southwestern and western counties.
"It will then be largely dry across Munster and Connacht today with sunny spells and just isolated showers.
"However, staying mostly cloudy across Ulster and Leinster with showery rain, gradually clearing eastwards later in the day. Highest temperatures of 11C to 15C in moderate southwesterly breezes."
Tonight will be mainly dry and clear and it will feel chilly with lows of 2C to 5C.
Meanwhile, Wednesday will start off sunny but cloud will tend to build up during the day with scattered showers spreading eastwards across the country.
Top temperatures will range from 11C to 15C in moderate southwest winds.

And don't forget your brolly on Thursday as long spells of rain and thundery downpours with a risk of hail are expected.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Sunshine to start the day in many areas but showers will spread from the Atlantic, merging to longer spells of rain at times.
"Some of the showers will be thundery in nature with the risk of hail. Top temperatures of 10C to 14C in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
"Becoming dry in many areas overnight but a few showers will continue, especially in the northwest. Minimum temperatures of 4C to 7C in mostly light westerly winds."
