Soaring temperatures will make Ireland hotter than Lanzarote, Greece and Morocco this weekend.
A rare blast of warm weather is to arrive over the next two days, with Met Eireann forecasting temperatures of up to 23C.
Good Friday is expected to be a dry, warm and sunny day with highs of 21C.
And Saturday is to be even warmer again, with parts of Ireland experiencing 23C temperatures, according to the national forecaster.
A Met Eireann spokesperson said: "It will be dry on Friday with hazy sunshine again.

"Temperatures will be a little higher, with afternoon values ranging 16 to 21 degrees, best values across the midlands and west. Winds will be light variable or southerly.
"Saturday will be another mild or warm day. It'll be mostly dry and calm too with any early mist soon clearing.
"Long spells of warm hazy spring sunshine across much of Leinster and Munster.
"However, somewhat cloudier conditions are expected elsewhere with patchy drizzle possibly affecting west and northwest coastal areas towards evening.
"Top temperatures of 16 to 22 or 23 degrees Celsius. Patchy drizzle may push inland across the west and north overnight, with mist and fog developing in near calm. Lows of 6 to 9 degrees Celsius."

The spike in the heat will see Ireland be warmer than several hotspots for tourists going on sun holidays.
