A passenger asking to transport their budgie from Dublin to Brussels was the most bizarre request made to a driver at an Irish taxi firm this year.
A wedding dress was the most unusual item left behind, while the funniest comment saw one customer admit he thought popstar Ariana Grande was a type of font.
Drivers also managed to rack up €1.3 million in M50 tolls over the last twelve months.
The stats were revealed as part of Lynk Taxi’s 2019 round-up, after a year which saw their drivers clock up the distance equivalent of travelling to the moon and back 16 times.
The longest journey taken by a Lynk customer was a roughly 250km trip from Dublin to Westport, which racked up an staggering €751 fare.
While the shortest was a 300-metre expedition from the Shelbourne Hotel to Grafton Street, costing a mere €6.20.
And the most delivered product were doughnuts - with drivers dropping off a mouth-watering 60,000 of the savoury treats.
Open Champion Shane Lowry was the most famous big-name customer, and a vote of drivers found that Matt The Rashers in the Dublin suburb of Kimmage served up the best breakfast roll.
But the most unexpected request came from a woman who wanted to travel with her budgie to the Belgian capital Brussels.
After explaining that no airline would allow her to carry the bird, she was provided with a quote for the unconventional journey.
And a forgotten wedding dress was immediately returned to the nearest garda station - reunited with a panicked bride just in time for the big day.
The most common item left behind was phones, accounting for 32% of all items in the company’s lost and found, with wallets or bags a distant second with 22%.
And the most popular booking time was 8am, with most customers, 66%, ordering their taxi either on the app or over the web, compared to just 34% who did so over the phone.
Lynk drivers also had to contend with 122 passengers doing a runner without paying, with another 57 reporting customers vomiting inside their vehicle.
