Irish striker Aaron Drinan seals move to Swedish side GAIS

Aaron Drinan sealed a loan move to Swedish second division side GAIS today.

The Ireland Under-21 and Ipswich Town striker, who spent the first half of the League of Ireland season on loan at Waterford, has signed until January.

Drinan impressed during a week long trial.

GAIS also ran their eye over Barry Cotter, the former Limerick defender, but have not signed him and he returned to Ipswich during the week.

"Aaron is a hard-working forward who will hopefully cause a lot of problems for opposing defenders,” said GAIS coach Patrik Ingelsten.
