Irish consumers are being warned over two product recalls from one of the world's most popular shopping platforms.
Wish, a site that sells millions of items, is recalling some products over safety fears.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission issued the alert to the Irish public on Wednesday.
The first alert concerns a 4 port USB adapter that was available on the Wish platform.
According to the CCPC, there are "multiple non-conformities in regards to internal components which may result in an electric shock to the user".
Around 12 of these items have been sold in Ireland.
The second product is a 10 port USB 50W intelligent charger which was also sold by Wish.
Similar to the other item, there are "multiple non-conformities in regards to insulation and internal components, which may result in an electric shock to the user or connection fault of the appliance".
There are approximately three affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
Irish customers who believe they may have purchased an affected product are being urged to discontinue use immediately and discard the product.
Purchasers of these products from the Wish platform will be alerted by the company of this issue, the CCPC added.
