Irish rugby star Jordi Murphy has kicked his World Cup heartache to touch and got down on one knee for long-term partner Laura Finnegan.
Murphy was a late call-up to Joe Schmidt's side who were sent packing from Japan by New Zealand last month.
But the 28-year-old, who plays his club rugby with Ulster, has used a break from the pitch to get engaged to his sweetheart.
The pair first start going out at 16 years old having met in their native Monkstown.
And Murphy proposed to brunette beauty Finnegan on Saturday on Sandycove Beach.
He posted a picture of the happy duo on his Instagram with Finnegan showing off her engagement ring.
