Irish restaurants: Owner's fury at 13 'd***head' no shows who didn't arrive for Dublin restaurant despite confirming

One Irish restaurateur has been left furious after he had a staggering 13 people not show up for bookings at his popular restaurant despite some even confirming their bookings earlier that day.

Oliver Dunne of the delicious Bon Appetit in Malahide, Dublin, lashed out at the 13 "d***head" no shows who failed to turn up for their bookings at the restaurant in the first two days of its reopening, reports Dublin Live.

Four people refused to show face on the opening Wednesday night but what's even worse, over double the amount left him hanging also on Thursday night.

Nine people didn't show for their tables despite going to the effort of saying they'd be in attendance to the workers there earlier that day.

A vexed and frustrated Dunne vented his anger on Twitter.

He told his followers: "For over three months Bon Appetit has been closed.

"Seating capacity has now dropped by 30% due to social distancing.

"And still, four people [Wednesday] night and nine people [on Thursday night] didn’t show after confirming their tables earlier in the day."

He added at the end of his tweet: "Some people are just d***heads".
