Irish Rail warn customers of disruption to Dart, Commuter, and Heuston services this bank holiday weekend

Irish Rail passengers have been warned to plan ahead and check timetables as repair works will cause disruption to services this bank holiday weekend.

Track renewal works in Newbridge will affect services in and out of Heuston Station on Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27.

Affected routes will include Heuston to Cork/Limerick/Kerry, Heuston to Galway/Westport/Ballina and Heuston to Waterford.

There will be bus transfers for affected passengers.

Pearse roof renewal works and track works between Lansdowne and Dun Laoghaire will result in DART services being suspended from Connolly to Dun Laoghaire on both Saturday and Sunday.

Dublin Bus will accept rail tickets for affected areas.

DART services will operate between Howth/Malahide and Dublin Connolly, and between Dun Laoghaire and Bray, to a revised schedule.

Coastal defence works on Bray Head will take place from Saturday, October 26 to Monday October 28.

DART services from Bray to Greystones will be suspended to facilitate the works.

Rosslare Europort customers will have to get a bus transfer between Dublin and Greystones on Saturday and Sunday and between Bray and Greystones on Monday.

Trains from Athenry to Galway will also be disrupted on Saturday and Sunday due to bridge works.

Bus services will be available from Athenry to Galway.
