Irish Rail to open new train station on Dublin commuter belt next week

Irish Rail has announced that a new train station will open on the Dublin commuter belt on Sunday, August 26th.

Pelletstown Station will be Irish Rail's 145th station and will be served on the Maynooth/M3 Parkway lines.

Construction on Pelletstown Station began in February 2020.

It is situated between the Ashtown and Broombridge stations on Dublin's northside.

Making the announcement on social media, Irish Rail said: "Our newest station, Pelletstown, will open on Sunday 26th September - it will be the 145th station on our network, and will be served by Commuter services on the Maynooth/M3 Parkway to Dublin lines."
