Irish Rail issues appeal after ANOTHER lost dog turns up at Heuston Station

Irish Rail have issued an appeal after a second lost dog was turned up at Heuston Station in Dublin.

The appeal comes after adventurous "Hamish", another lost pooch, made the journey from Sallins to Heuston all by himself last week.

Irish Rail said on Twitter: "Another furry friend has found his way to Heuston Station! Please RT so we can re-unite him with his owner. #lostdog"

Many were quick to say the latest train dog is trying to get its paws in on the publicity, with one saying "they're all looking for the limelight", DublinLive reports.

Irish Rail finds Hamish the dog's owners - and his real name is very different

It's not clear whether the dog boarded a train with one person claiming they saw it getting off the Luas outside.

Hamish, whose name was later revealed to be Tyson, spent the night with My Lovely Horse Rescue before his owners came forward to take him back.

A number of people had tried to claim him after he made national headlines and captured the nation's heart.
